Installed as an alternative operating environment that starts in under 10 seconds, it offers instant-on access to a full-featured, secure, high performance web browsing experience together with Citrix, VMware and RDP remote desktop support, and is delivered in a cost effective, crash resilient package that is immune to hard disk or OS crashes.

FLASH utilizes uses the system's laptop resources- Power, CPU, Memory, LAN and Wi-Fi, and also supports Mobile Broadband Mini-cars on select models.

Enter your login details. Multiple users can be configured to use the system – each with their own system settings.
		Choose one of the application icons to launch first – Mail, Web, Chat, VoIP or Remote Desktop access.
You’re online! The browser is based on Firefox and supports Adobe Flash 10 and Java in addition to reading Adobe PDF files. And because you’re running on the system CPU, performance is fast!

Read and Edit Microsoft Office compatible documents online such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word as well as view Adobe PDF docs.

Instant message using your AIM, Google Talk, MSN or Yahoo Messenger accounts or fire up VoIP.

		The login screen appears after pressing the Latitude ON™ button. Multiple users can be set-up. Just enter your username and password.
Applications on the LaunchBar cannot be changed or removed – so no configuration drift to worry about.
		Latitude ON™ \| FLASH is a locked-down environment that is both tamperproof, malware and virus resistant. In fact, the hard drive is completely isolated from FLASH. For example, you can only save to an external USB drive. Also, any application changes made while using Windows do not affect FLASH.
Separates Windows workspace from the independent Latitude ON™ \| FLASH workspace. Also, moving between FLASH and Windows is easy - press the Latitude ON button to use FLASH. To enter Windows, press the main power button.

Rock Solid Offers crash recovery in the event of OS and Hard Disk problems. Works when Windows doesn’t.
	FLASH is delivered as a dedicated hardware module that installs and runs independently of Windows and Hard Disk.

FLASH can be preinstalled on supported models at the time of purchase or field installed as a module kit that includes all the necessary hardware, drivers, and application software. It is installed under an access panel on the bottom of the laptop. After configuring the software via a Windows utility, simply press the Latitude ON™ button to activate.

Because FLASH operates independently of the computer's primary operating system, employees can still get online even in the event of OS or hard drive failure.

Simply press the Latitude ON™ button to access your information. All applications are included on the module - there are no hidden subscription fees to pay. FLASH even works when the hard disk is encrypted or is removed from the system. And you can transfer FLASH to another supported system.

Remote Virtual Desktops Access Corporate Resources Using Your Citrix ,VMware and RDP Infrastructure Over Existing Remote Access Technologies.
Citrix, VMware and RDP thin clients are pre-integrated into the LaunchBar, so access to existing corporate data on remote desktops is kept off the mobile PC – reducing risk of data breaches. The result is that your Dell system is transformed into an instant thin client that is more affordable and more flexible than other dedicated thin client hardware options.
